When is the best time to visit Atins?
June to September combines full lagoons with dry weather. The kite wind season runs July to December. From January to May the village is more isolated because of the rains.

How do you get to Atins?
From Barreirinhas by boat along the Preguiças river, or overland by 4x4 along the beach, always subject to the tide table. There is also access from Paulino Neves. The reference airport is São Luís (SLZ).
