When is the best time to visit Cinque Terre?
May, June and September have good weather with the trails open. July and August get very crowded. In winter many businesses close and paths may be shut.
Getting there
How do you get to Cinque Terre?
Access is by train from La Spezia or Levanto. The reference airports are Pisa (PSA) and Genoa (GOA). Driving between the villages is discouraged, since parking is almost nonexistent.
