May, June and September combine good sea conditions with fewer people. July and August clog the narrow, winding coast road. Many hotels and restaurants close between November and March.
Getting there
How do you get to Amalfi Coast?
The reference airport is Naples (NAP). From there, train to Sorrento and then bus or boat along the coast. In summer the boat is usually faster and more comfortable than the road.
