September to February is the dry season, with steady sun and calm water for swimming. Rain concentrates between March and July, when the village empties out but Dolphin Bay is less rewarding.
About 85 km from Natal International Airport (NAT), roughly 1h30 on paved road along the Rota do Sol. It can also be reached from João Pessoa, about 2h30 away. Inside the village everything is done on foot.
