When is the best time to visit Venice?
April to June and September to October offer mild weather and smaller crowds. Carnival, in February, fills the city. Between October and January acqua alta can flood parts of the centre at high tide.

How do you get to Venice?
Marco Polo Airport (VCE) is on the mainland, linked to the city by bus or by direct boat to San Marco. Venice has no cars: you move on foot or by vaporetto.
