Jericoacoara Airport (JJD), in Cruz, is the closest and sits about an hour away by road. From Fortaleza Airport (FOR) it is roughly 300 km, a 5 to 6 hour transfer. The final stretch into the village is done in a 4x4 across the dunes, because Jericoacoara lies inside a national park and has no paved road to its centre.
